Ladies...We did it! Team NEW kicked butt!
We had collected all the monies from Bucks4Boobs,
our team's online donations and every little penny
that had been given to help the cause and to remember
our good friend, Diana Jordan Thompson, in
whose honor we walked on May 8th. We took the money to the Susan
G. Komen Richmond Volunteer Appreciation Event on
Friday, May 14 at Dominion Headquarters.
We handed all the dozens and dozens of checks to
the SGK team and they had to change the power
point presentation for the evening's presentation, as
they discovered that our team, Team N.E.W. had received
the most donations of all the Richmond Friends
and Family teams! We really did it, thanks to you and
all of our friends, neighbors and families!
WE ROCK!
